Laboratory Fluid Machinery SuSe 2025 and WiSe 2025/26

The chairs of Hydraulic Fluid Machinery (HSM), Thermal Turbo Machinery and Aero Engines (TTF) and Energy Systems and Energy Process Technology (LEAT) offer a specialized laboratory for students of the Master's program in the specialization Fluid Machinery. This lab spans the summer and winter semesters. It can be started in SoSe as well as in WiSe and includes the following experiments:

SuSe 2025

• A) Cavitation in centrifugal pumps (HSM)
• B) Numerical centrifugal pump test rig (HSM)
• C) Experimental determination of flow parameters of a compressor profile (TTF)

WiSe 2025/2026

• D) Measurement of the pressure distribution on a NACA profile (HSM) 
• E) Flow measurement with Laser-Doppler-Anemometry (LEAT)

Students with the specialization in fluid machinery please register via FlexNow for the laboratory fluid mechanics until 12.10.2025.

Alternatively, you have the possibility to participate in the power engineering lab, which extends over one semester.
