Laboratory Fluid Machinery SuSe 2026 and WiSe 2026/27

The chairs of Hydraulic Fluid Machinery (HSM), Thermal Turbo Machinery and Aero Engines (TTF) and Energy Systems and Energy Process Technology (LEAT) offer a specialized laboratory for students of the Master's program in the specialization Fluid Machinery. This lab spans the summer and winter semesters. It can be started in SoSe as well as in WiSe and includes the following experiments:

SuSe 2026

• A) Cavitation in centrifugal pumps (HSM)
• B) Numerical centrifugal pump test rig (HSM)
• C) Experimental determination of flow parameters of a compressor profile (TTF)

WiSe 2026/2027

• D) Flow measurement with Laser-Doppler-Anemometry (LEAT)
• E) Measurement of the pressure distribution on a NACA profile (HSM) 

Students with the specialization in fluid machinery please register via FlexNow for the laboratory fluid mechanics until 12.04.2026.
